What else am I up to? I feel very strongly about supporting people who are suffering from either natural or political turmoil. One of the reasons I wrote SEA was to examine the reality of what happens to a people after a disaster strikes; after the news cameras leave and the people are left to pick up the pieces alone. My husband works mostly in non-profit and through his volunteer efforts, we continue to support and help children orphaned by the Asian Tsunami. He is also working with a Cambodian monk to protest the abusive treatment targeted monks are suffering from in their native country.
