My
favorite books are the ones that leave me with a heightened sense
of awareness; books that I don’t want to end. Books that I
dream about, re-read, or find myself thinking about long after I’ve
closed their lovely covers. Some of them are classics, some are
brand new graphic novels, some have won multiple awards, some are
best sellers, and some are chapter books written for second-graders.
Though from many different genres, they all left me with an emotional
punch; a perfect blend of unique voice, spot-on characterization,
riveting plots, and bittersweet impact that left me breathless.
Here are a few (and as new books keep coming out, I’ll keep
adding, so please come back and check from time to time!
